Volta Glass School

We are currently accepting applications for Introduction to Glass Blowing.

In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of flame-working. This is a hands-on instructor guided course designed to help students build safe and proper working etiquette while learning the basics on the torch.

Day one will cover safety protocol as well as tool and equipment use. Day two will consist of planning and executing a finished glass piece. The ultimate goal of the Intro class will be for students to gain a foundation from which they can pursue advanced techniques in glass.

All equipment and materials will be provided for this class.

Experience Level: Introductory

Minimum age requirement: 18

Duration: 2 days (3 hours each day)
