Volta glass studio is the only operating glass studio in Bloomington indiana that allows guests to watch the artists create unique borosilicate pieces from the gallery. 

owner ryan hoffman (huffy glass) opened the studio in 2011 with the vision of producing the highest level of quality glass art while harboring an educational environment for people to gain a better appreciation of the process.

some of the unique items you'll find in our gallery include barware, jewelry, lighting and home decor, holiay ornaments, sculpture, functional smokeware and so much more.  guests may shop the hundreds of pieces available in the retail gallery or collaborate their ideas with the artists on a custom piece and watch their design come to life. 

those interested in a more hands-on experience can contact us to enroll in a two day introduction to glassblowing course. after which, students will leave with a better understanding of the art form and a one-of-a-kind finished piece.
